Some Sense of Security

 

 

Some Sense of Security Started when lead singer Holly Ogilvie and Drummer Ruairidh Whitecross were playing swing ball and decided to form a band; a band that would eventually become Some Sense of Security. Half a year later - shortly after Christmas - Lead Guitarist Jamie Martin Joined. However, they were still short of a bassist. It didn't take long for Bassist Euan Kerr to make himself known and soon the line up was complete.

 

The spring of 2007 saw the band recording their first EP at Old Mill Studios and in the Summer, the bands first gig. In late 2007 & early 2008 the band returned to The Old Mill and recorded their second EP "Feeling free is our modern disease" and in the last month have been playing gigs at venues such as Barfly Glasgow, Glasgow Rockers, Old Mill Studios and Claremont Church Hall.

 

The band are currently writing and producing their 3rd EP/Demo.
